A relationship is considered healthy and strong is the two involved has respect and shoe kindness to one another. The resulting scenario in such relationship is strong bond between the partners. Many years back, I asked my self, how could I make my relationship better and strong, so that we could become closer, build more alliance and have more trust between us, the result was rewarding because we were able to develop some unique skills that worked wonders. They will work for you and your partner too.
1. You have to be able to optimistically relax around each other. Don?t appear nervous so that you don?t make your partner to withdraw. There should be deliberate excitement between you two that should be created by both of you.
2. You have to develop the ability to listen to one another because it helps to either of to emotional connect with each other. You have to be able to sort out what the partner is trying to tell you by intently listening on what on what he or she is saying. Make sure that you give your partner every attention when she or he is saying something to you and try to get more information from his or her emotion, tone of voice, facial expression and more. This would help you to feel the pain or joy he or she is feeling too.
3. I also noticed that if I wanted to make my relationship better and stronger, I had to develop strong empathic feelings that would help us form stronger bonds. It really worked because we were able to develop more respect for each other even when we mistakenly hurt one another; it was easier for us to encourage each other.
4. You have to learn to respond carefully and caringly to your partner. The way you respond to your lover or spouse will help to assure that you understood what you were told and is ready to support. You are the closest person to your partner and it is going to be mind-soothing to know that you are with him or her.
5. Learn to compliment each other because that is the best way to encourage yourselves to be more realistic. Dialogue with your partner and show appreciation whenever the need arises.
6. You have to cooperate with your lover or spouse for better results. For your relationship to continue to survive and thrive, you must be able to do things together as one. You have to form a kind of trusting alliance with your partner so that each of you can work together and hold forth for one another whenever there is need.
7. Don?t fake your living or try to unnecessary ?impress? your partner with false actions. You have to be your self while trying as much as possible to put the other into consideration in your various undertakings.
For you to make your relationships better and stronger, you have to be on the look out for positive qualities in others and accentuate such.
